About the final project for: Centerpiece Design with Dried and Preserved Flowers

Floral Centerpiece Design with Drying and Dyeing Techniques

“We have reached the end. I hope you have enjoyed and learned a lot. Now is the time to present your final project. You can do one of the two types of project that I have done (frontal arrangement and 360º arrangement) and even both, if you feel like it. Remember, even if you make the same type of arrangement, it does not have to be the same as mine, let your creativity fly and create an original arrangement that is yours. Before saying goodbye, we are going to review the phases of your project that I want you to show me: Selection of materials The first step is to decide what project or projects you are going to do and choose its characteristics. Select the flowers and plants that you are going to use for your final project. You will also have to choose the materials and colors that you are going to use; stain the grasses and other plants you want to add a touch of color. Front arrangement

360º arrangement
Location When you have the floral material ready, select the vase that will shelter it and the location where you want to place it. Remember, the frontal arrangement only shows its front face, while the 360º arrangement will be seen from all sides.
Arrangement creation Start by selecting the flowers and plants paying close attention to basic composition rules, such as axes and the triangle rule. Play with color, creating continuity. In Unit 3 you will be able to review how I did this process step by step. Front arrangement
360º arrangement
Final touches and final result To finish, add some final touches as I taught you in Unit 4. Remember that you can add some fresh touches with fresh flowers, for a photo session, for example.
Now share your final project with all of us by clicking on "Create your project". Remember to share both the final result of your flower arrangement and the steps that have led you to it. It would be great if you showed a picture of each step and added a brief explanation about what you have done in each one. So I can give you feedback. I also want to invite you to actively participate in the forum, both sharing your progress and giving advice and trying to help the rest of the community. It is sure to be very enriching for everyone! See you on the forum! ”
