About the final project for: Realistic Watercolor for Botanical Compositions

"Realistic Watercolor for Botanical Compositions "

“I want to thank you for choosing my course to introduce you to the world of botanical watercolor. In this course I have told you all my tricks so that you acquire solid foundations when it comes to painting and I have taught you how my working method is with which your creativity when making compositions will have no limits. During the course I have done a nice exercise to teach you the technique step by step, but my hope is that once you understand the concepts, you create your own illustration in which you put into practice all the tricks you have learned. You will sharpen your observation so that you can capture what your eyes see in everyday flowers and plants in your environment, this will help you give your composition a very personal touch. Before we say goodbye, let's review the key phases of the project. It would be great if you briefly explain what you have done in each one and accompany the explanation with one or more images. Composition Prepare the composition of your illustration by drawing inspiration from the references you have collected. I have done it in Photoshop (I left you the file, downloadable in Unit 3), but you can also do it by hand.

Clean drawing When you have finished composing your image, clean it up so you can get down to work.
Color Palette With what you have learned in the lessons on color in Unit 3, choose the color range that you are going to use to give life and color to your project.
Project painting It's time to apply color to your composition. Following the steps that we saw in Unit 4, put into practice the techniques learned by using them to paint the different elements of the illustration. Little by little, with patience and dedication... you will reach the final result!
Now share your final project with the community by clicking on "Create your project". Remember to share both the final result of your illustration and the steps that have led you to it. The best way to learn is to see how others work things, and for this our forum is the perfect space for it. In it you can share your doubts and there I will solve them directly, you will see how much you learn from the doubts of others. In addition to sharing your progress, you can encourage other colleagues in the community with your experience. It is a super dynamic space to nurture our love for nature and continue learning about technique. I am looking forward to seeing your project and giving you feedback. Although I ask for your patience, I will try to access the forum as much as I can and what my professional projects allow me. See you on the forum!”

“Final project We have now reached the end of the course. I hope you enjoyed it as I did, that you have learned a lot of the tricks that I have given you and now we are going to make a small review of everything we have seen. First we saw the materials and I explained how the brush worked to achieve different effects. Then we are inspired by nature and make our composition. Then we analyze the color and we learned how the chromatic circle worked to bring out different shades and colors. Later we apply the different techniques.
