Color has different properties, and knowing how to use them and combine them will help you be a better artist. Let me explain. Color has three properties. These are hue, saturation, and value. Hue is what we normally think of as color. It is the difference between blue, green, red, et cetera. Saturation speaks to the intensity and purity of a color.
