Knitting Realistic Stuffed Animals: Make a Puppy from Yarn

This is a GREAT course.
I have wanted to knit one of Claire Garland’s puppies for a long time but was a little intimidated because I am not an experienced knitter.
This tutorial guides you step by step. I am now in my 4th puppy and love the results.

Ich hatte mir von Claire Garland eigentlich ein Muster für eine gestrickte Maus gekauft. Das Muster war logischerweise auf Englisch verfasst, was ich im Vorfeld auch wusste. Leider habe ich nichts verstanden. Mithilfe dieses Kurses wurde mir dann klar, wie das Muster umgesetzt werden muss und ich hatte keine Probleme, meine Maus zu stricken. Alles super erklärt und dank der Aufnahmen sehr gut nachvollziehbar. Sehr empfehlenswert!

This is a wonderful course led by an equally wonderful teacher. Her videos, patterns and support material are very thorough and easy to follow...and even when I made a few mistakes with my knitting she was there for me in a helpful and patient way. Very complete and lovely process with patience and organization

This course has an incredible amount of video presentation and resource material. Claire has a lovely teaching approach. She covers every detail in completing the basic puppy but also includes directions for several different breeds and includes a workbook to customize and design others. I was surprised at how much was included in this course for so little investment. I highly recommend this course and would definitely take another course with Claire.

I really love the idea of making a cute knitted animal for all nieces and nephews. I find Claire very calming and confident that I can do this. My only question is, where do I find the written version (PDF) of the pattern to download? Thanks!

Very detailed and clear instructions

I love this course and am happy I made the purchase. I am very happy to be able to download and print all the instructions and watch the videos incessantly. My only two concerns (I won't say criticisms) is that the products that are referred to are sold in Europe and I am in NYC. The references provided just directed me back to Europe. Also, it would be helpful to offer time markers to reference the video points with the pdf instructions.

I'm not a beginner knitter but I felt intimidated by Claire's adorable patterns because they looked extremely complex, so I decided to buy this course - and I'm so happy I did! Yes, her patterns ARE complex, but this course makes the process look straightforward and manageable, and now I feel confident enough to tackle her other patterns. I feel like the lessons are structured well, with enough video guidance to help you through the trickiest bits but without too much blabber and filler.

I’m an experienced knitter and have knit several of Claire’s animals. I just wanted to watch her do the various techniques to see that I am doing them right. And I really wanted to see how the final stitching of everything, and stuffing, and how Claire works towards getting the face features so realistic and cute! I love how the animals are knit in almost one whole piece, rather than many small pieces needing to be sewn together. I enjoyed the class very much.

This is a great course. I love Claire's patterns and really wanted to try a puppy. I was very glad to find that there was a course with lots of video guidance. I still have a long way to go - have completed the head - but so far so good. I am really a beginner and I'm managing it quite well, so would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to learn to knit a realistic puppy.

Enjoying it very much. Although it is a difficult and complicated pattern it is explained very clearly and if you work through the pattern slowly and carefully it is easy.
