“Choosing and preparing the ceramic piece In this class I will talk a little about my choices in ceramic pieces, their whys and we will also start preparing for the application of the technique. The pieces I choose, basically, are these: created from molds, with liquid dough, slip, and has a burn between 800 and 900 degrees. Why do I choose these pieces? The firing process interferes with the pores of the piece, how much the clay closes and makes the piece more rigid or how much it leaves a little softer with a little lower burn. I chose a flat piece, without edges, to avoid the accumulation...”
