“PHOTOSHOP FOR ILLUSTRATORS / COURSE 3 LESSON 6 Value Studies Next we'll paint different value studies for our sketch from Course 2. Let's see how this works. We've created a sketch and we've chosen some potential colour palettes. To build a good foundation for our final artwork, the next thing we'll do is make a quick value study. This is a greyscale painted sketch planning out the value structure of the artwork.
