“Influences Now you've got to know about me, I'm gonna be sharing with you some of my main influences. The first one I remember is Mies van der Rohe's pavilion in Barcelona. My grandfather and I used to walk around that area when I was a child. I remember every time I would come up to it, I would freeze and stare at it in absolute awe. I was mesmerized by its clean lines. I couldn't tell what it was because it definitely had nothing that would attract a child. It was hypnotizing. I loved it.
