This was such a lovely course! I've followed several artists on different platforms to learn about illustration, but I still discovered so much new! Ema's process is very thorough and ensures that you are well prepared to get the best result. Her tips are refreshing and her energy is so motivating! I got inspired every step of the way. I just finished the course and I absolutley loved it. Ema gave so much useful advice, I even took some notes to not forget anything. But there are also many additional resources to read and download. I took many courses but this one must be one of my favourites. It is so well and thoughtful build up. Thank you Ema for sharing all this content! Now I will brainstorm what tale I want to illustrate. I really cannot wait to start my project.

I am not a beginner, but I have loved Ema’s work since long and I really loved painting along side with her. this course is great.lots of tips and interesting thoughts.Personally, I enjoyed a lot the part about character, and I could see all the work that went with this class. I love the simple ways Ema explains concepts, and her unique take on things. The advice I loved the most is to fit as much as possible what we love into our work, to be always inspired to create. I would highly recommend!

I was waiting for this course, because Ema is one of my favourite illustrators. I finished watching the course and I really like it. I'm positively surprised by the multitude of lessons, tips and tricks, the lessons are very interesting. I love to see the Ema's process, I know that I will learn a lot from this course and I'm looking forward to working with it.

This is a remarkably well designed and taught course. I’ve took many illustration courses from different artists through the years, but this is by far my favorite. Ema’s knowledge and kindness, all the tips she provides to help develop your own stories and find your own style, is amazing. This is course my favourite of all the ones I've ever taken. Inside and outside of Domestika. It's filled with inspiration, encouragement, practical steps and useful techniques. It's down-to-earth, well-considered and chock full of applicable information. I can't think of a single thing to improve. I lack the words to describe it properly, but I'm so happy to have found it and excited to apply all that I've learned. Thank you, Ema, for this course and all you've put into it. Simply loved that course for its inspiring content!

I really enjoyed the course! The energy that Ema has put into the course is really excellent. The moodboard is such a good approach, I have never done this, although I have been illustrating before (some time ago now) mostly for children magazines and schoolbooks.
It is so inspiring that it makes you want to start a project of your own straightaway.

The course is just great! I like Ema's style and have been following her on Insta for some time. I was even more pleased that there is now a course by her. The topic is exciting and the numerous tips and information are very helpful. I can only recommend the course and look forward to more courses from Ema :-)
