Combining antique and modern items might just be the key to transforming any space into one gleaming with personality. Jimena and Laura, cofounders of the architecture studio Jotaele, are dedicated to remodeling spaces, interior design, and styling. Throughout their career, they've worked on hotels, stores, restaurants, apartments, and houses, always with the same goal in mind: Identifying the client's needs and mirroring the lifestyle of the inhabitants to create a comfortable, warm, and practical space.
In this course, Jimena and Laura teach you to breathe life into your environment using objects from different artistic and architectural time periods. Learn to express your creativity freely and break away from classic paradigms and trends combining elements that express your true style.

Are you ready to discover the tools for giving your home an eclectic feel? Jimena and Laura teach you how to pinpoint the client's needs and how to take on a space according to both its virtues and problem areas. Wrap up this phase by putting together a mood board to convey your ideas and goals to the client.
Now get started on your space! Choose the furniture according to the distribution plan and decide on the decoration, remembering to be fearless when including colorful items or unconventional shapes. The lesson is understanding how each individual element contributes to the creation of a unique space.
Design an eclectic space in your home (or a residential space of your choice) using styles, techniques, and items from different time periods.
