“How to Draw Hands Now, we'll cover how to draw the hands. Let's get started. We're starting off as usual, with our clothed mannequins. We take the layer we worked on previously and we lower the opacity down. When drawing hands, as with everything, simplify them down into basic shapes, because the hands themselves are very complex. They've got a lot of soft forms on them, so they're very malleable and there's a lot of folding and stretching going on.
