Creative Watercolor Sketching for Beginners

I can usually judge by the way the person describes their work and influences. Do they gel or do they show growth. Are they giving you the feel they are really into it. I am intrigued as I love freeform going against the rules Of course always try something new. that's why I am here

Good basic intro to wtercolor

Laura encourages creativity, self-expression, trying something new and not having to always like the result. She definitely opened up a new "file drawer" in my brain's art compartment! She helped me to experiment outside of my usual style. Would highly recommend her course, and have already purchased two more for myself.

I love all courses by Laura McKendry, but this one is my favorite so far. It's playful, creative, and has made learning new techniques so enjoyable. I highly recommend this course.

Out of the dozen courses I have taken here, this is truly one of my favorites. While I am not new to watercolor, Laura has offered new paths to take with it. Another great thing about this course is Laura's attitude toward sketchbooks, and her continued encouragement to really use them to explore. Her presentations are thorough, and she shows how to connect the learning of one lesson to the next-- a sign of a good teacher. Her videos are well-shot and make the lessons clear.

I've learnt to make myself more creative and freedom in making ideas. Allow the brushes and feelings to guide my in drawing something. Anything is perfect, but everything is perfect on its own.

this course is beyond my expectation, the instructor planned the course very well by giving you all the basic skills you need rather than telling you how to draw a flower. i watch the videos again and again and practice on my own afterwards to hone my skills. I love this kind of more structured course for learning watercolor drawing seriously.
