Book Cover Design: Illustrate Stories with Evocative Images

I already knew Owen from IG, so I was really excited to find out, that he had partnered up with Domestika. I wanted to take the course to create a cover for a story I had been given to read. I think Owen did a great job introducing the craft.

Curso excelente para quem gosta de trabalhar com artes e com livros. Não domino Photoshop ou aquarela, mas posso aplicar os conhecimentos que adquiri aqui em outros softwares para meus projetos. Realmente muito bom!

This is an excellent, thorough course on how to design a book cover, including front cover, back cover, spine, and inside flaps. The instructor uses his own watercolor artwork for the project, and goes into detail on how he uses Photoshop to enhance that artwork to create a professional finished book cover. He also talks about the use of textures, color, fonts, and more. I can't recommend this one highly enough!

Owen's class was very valuable. I have seen several online lessons before and this one was definitely the most worth watching.
