“Shields and Lighting We're done with the details. In this lesson, I'll paint some shields and work on some lighting. The shields I'll make will be hung on the ship. I'll also show you how to make them from scratch in Photoshop using basic shapes and a couple of textures. To make things more dramatic, I'll work on some light passes. Let's get into it. I'll make a simple shield and show you how I approach these things to dress up the ship. I'll use a couple of textures from the CG Textures that I grabbed. They'll be this metal and this simple wood texture. I won't focus too much on the shield...”

After studying astronomy at university and working as an insurance broker during the holidays, he soon realized that art was his true passion.
