Web Design with Figma: Building Striking Compositions
“You did it! You reached the end! Thank you so much for taking this course about visual design with me. It was an absolute pleasure teaching you all the ways you can use Figma to your advantage. Before we say goodbye, let’s recap what you’ve learned. We learned about different composition principles like Gestalt, visual hierarchy and affordances in UI. Next, I taught you how to understand and dissect a brief so we could establish the visual elements we wanted to use in our high-fidelity mock-up. Then, we took a deeper dive into typography, color, graphics, icons and visual styles. I taught you how to sketch a wireframe and define a visual style guide so we could put it all together to build your final project! Lastly, I showed you how to create button interactions, how to link to pages and modals, and how to share your prototype with the world. Here's the landing page I created for the course.
