Depending on these, the colors will relate to each other in a certain way. First, the hue or tone refers to the color itself, its tint, or the wavelength in light colors. Depending on the hue we can tell if a color is green or blue. Saturation refers to the degree of purity of this color. When mixed with each other, they lose purity and tend to gray.
