Introduction to Illustration with India Ink

I really loved this course! What I really liked was the introduction of other artists Poni is inspired by and the book recommendations which called for further research. Poni explained the techniques step by step and very exhaustively so a person interested in monochromatic ink illustration is ready to go on an explorative journey on their own, after completing this course.Thanks a lot Poni love your work and your passion for hand drawn ink drawings in this world of digital illustration.

El curso lo recomiendo para aquellos que se van a introducir por primera vez en la tinta china, ya que es básico y no da trucos ni herramientas nuevas a la técnica, como de exploración, soportes distintos al papel... Lo que esta bueno es la aplicación de lo digital a esta técnica tradicional. Buen curso para iniciar.

Molto raccomandato, spiegazioni chiare e dettagliate

I Loved this course. Very Thorough and informative. Was so excited to watch all the videos. The piece Poni made was beautiful. I’m a printmaker and love learning new techniques to try. The only down side is the translation to English. There were words that didn’t make sense and left me a bit lost trying to read it and figure out what its meant to say, while trying to follow along visually. Other than that I enjoyed it. Mvto, Ahe’hee, Yakoke!

I enjoyed the artist but the course became a little dull and I kept fast forwarding it.....too much time spent on so many gradient exercises and watching her do all the flat painting of the final project was a bit long.....would have loved to see more ink " techniques" and "special effects"

I really liked this course. I would say if there's one recommendation I could make would be to have less talking with the artist facing the camera . Rather do the voiceover/ narration while the artist is drawing. It became a bit dull to listen to a lot of speaking and I found myself forwarding to the parts where she was painting. Also, this has nothing to do with this course in particular but the English translations are very clumsy. Seems they used text-to-speech and google translator.

Muy buen curso se aprende muchísimo, súper recomendado.

La verdad que ya sólo con los ejercicios iniciales aprendes muchísimo. Los vídeos son muy amenos y está todo muy bien explicado. Me parece que partiendo de algo muy sencillo puedes obtener resultados fantásticos.
