Sketchbooking with Handmade Stamps

Good little course enabling me to work quickly and freely, and to develop the sketchbook habit. I’ve used ink pads as a starting place, but will easily move on to inks.

After a few years working on Lino cuts I was feeling stuck. This course has freed me up to be more playful, to work on small scale projects. It has reminded me of my love for pattern, and given me courage to experiment more with colour. Thanks

A lot of inspiration.

Ok but don't know if it's my computer - some of the pdfs are blank. Also, couple of things mentioned in videos never get expanded on like a Japan carving block shown in materials section but never named. And shading mentioned in the section on transferring an image but is never shown or expanded on. Examples are great and learned something new when it comes to cutting the stamps down to the image shape but for me, too much time spent talking at beginning. I'm all about doing.

I have really enjoyed this course! The materials are not particularly expensive and who knew that making stamps could be so simple!

Erg duidelijke video's. Goed opgebouwde lessen. Alleen jammer van de vreemde vertaalkronkels. In deze cursus is een "stamp" echt geen postzegel maar een "stempel". En zo zijn er nog wel wat onzuiverheden. Zo zijn "sheets" in dit geval zeker geen lakens maar wel "bladen". Gelukkig begrijp ik zelf ook Engels en is het voor mij niet verwarrend. Maar het zou erg goed zijn mochten de taalfouten eruit gehaald worden.
