Product Photography: From Mobile Phone to Digital Editing

“You have reached the end of the course. Congratulations! Now I invite you to create your final project. You can choose any object to take the photographs, either in a light box, or with an endless. You can also try your own angles like the zenith using some different texture or background. Before I say goodbye I would like to give you some final advice. • First try to be clear about the aesthetics you want to give your image, take into account the light and the background. • Choose your own object so that you can develop your own and different idea • Remember this takes practice and patience, but once you try it, you will see that the results will get better and better. • Share your work and let us give feedback with the other classmates. Surely all of them come up with new ideas or techniques that can help everyone. And finally, I leave you a summary of the step by step that I did in the course so that you can use it as a reminder: • Analyze the space, locate the light source and its origin.

• Present the objects of the still life on the surface where you are going to work, try different angles and support objects. • Do light tests to determine if you will need any bounce.
• Define the final montage and framing. • Clean your phone's camera. • Take the first few shots, trying different subtle angles (remember to frame a little more open than the end).
• Use the grid on the camera to compose better. • Take white balance.
• Take the photos and don't forget to take some alternate shots of details that may be useful later.
Remember that you can use any support element to complement the composition of your product, but that it does not take away from it. Ideally, it should be one or a couple of elements that have to do with the concept of your product. Do not forget that, with patience and practice, you will be able to generate better and better content. Take photos of your product and also exercise with different ones, so that, little by little, you define your vision.
Finally, thank you very much for everything and I hope that this course will be of great help to you to generate your own content according to what you are looking for. Here I will be attentive to answer your questions and comment on the material you want to share with me A hug! ”
