Daily Sketchbook Drawing: Develop Your Artist’s Eye

This course would be best suited to UN-confident Beginners who need a big boost to start drawing ANYthing. Anyone with drawing fundamentals under their belt already has a practice with a sketchbook, in all likelihood.The best part, for me, was hearing De Anda's philosophy on drawing/creativity. It's an excellent pep talk/position piece.

I enjoyed this course so much! There was lots to learn from Alfonso’s wise and laid-back approach to the practice of drawing. I didn’t think I could draw for an hour every day but I liked that I felt challenged and encouraged to try. I didn’t always fit in an hour but I tried and I did draw every single day. It was cool that the final project wasn’t a final “project” per se but your own sketchbook along with the great habit of drawing every day. I was sad when the course was over!

This course was great! It was well structured and really was a great way to build up drawing stamina while also changing your mindset towards drawing. I recommend this course for all levels!

Really fun class! Takes the pressure off the need to be perfect. Got me going to just draw and color however it worked. It sounds kinda lazy the way I say it, but it is not. Really freeing for those of us (like me!) who are uptight about making mistakes.

An incredibly good, clear and above all inspiring course! Good explanations, and valuable drawing tips, but I also found tips on mindset very informative. I have taken more online courses, but this was definitely one of the better ones!

One of the best courses I signed up for on Domestika! I really enjoyed learning from Alfonso. I felt as if I was in university again doing course projects. He follows through the project and shows the insights he has on how to sketch whilst also being yourself and how to use the ideas forwards. I really like that this is more of a mental training course than a technical one. I started doing the practice and it's very rewarding!
