This course is taught in an easy to follow, mindful, engaging, peaceful and motivating way. Not only are we taught how to do Japanese Calligraphy Kanji but, also how to find our inner Zen- in Shodo. I didn't realize how much of a "moving meditation" this was, (with full awareness on surroundings.) Our instructor here is the Granddaughter of a Master Calligrapher and has studied extensively herself, as both a master artist, calligrapher and teacher she is a wonderful surprise here!!

O curso de Shodo com a professora Rie Takeda é muito bom. É o primeiro passo para entrarmos em contato com essa arte japonesa. Eu senti como uma meditação. Gostei muito.

Una interesante aproximación a la caligrafia japonesa.

A fascinating insight into the mindfulness side of shodo. The complexity of kanji seems very daunting to start with but this course shows how to approach all calligraphy with the same calmness. I am intrigued by the drawing of the energy lines on a completed exercise and never seen that expressed before.
