Botanical Sketchbooking: A Meditative Approach

I haven't been able to start the course yet but I assume that, having paid for it, it is residing in the cloud somewhere for me to access when I am available.

This was just the right course at the right time for me.
Lapin's meditative observation of plants is healing, his guidance and demonstration on slowing down our pace, being at that moment, breathing, looking, drawing, are so clear and easy to follow. It is soothing to take this practice, and deeply rewarding to the senses, while it is a great drawing skill.
I certainty am taking a much closer look at plants. Thank you, Lapin.

Lapin's course is really meditative. Just watching it is relaxing. And trying it yourself from this side is even more so!
I would have liked a little more input to help me draw correctly.

Alot of talking.... just boring

With no experience in illustration, I found the course to be the perfect balance between learning and exploring the fundamentals of illustration while also being highly enjoyable and soothing on the soul and mind. Lapin, not only introduced me to the wondrous world of botanic colour, light and architecture but fostered a deep interest in the study of plants as a form of decompressing. The course was well prepared: the structure had a logical, intuitive flow and the filming and sound was great.

I'm enjoying this so much! Learning a lot but at the same time it's very relaxing. I have found a new hobby!

Really enjoying this course. Had never done anything like this. It’s really challenging for me to switch off but even just watching the videos is meditative and relaxing!
