Botanical Sketchbooking: A Meditative Approach

This is a very enjoyable course, and the instructor, Lapin is a very accomplished and patient teacher.
By watching the videos and reading the supplementary notes, I have learnt a lot and my drawing and painting skills have improved.
I also feel more confident and would like to explore this medium further!

I'm loving this course! The lessons are very clearly explained, and I can watch the videos over and over again, which is so helpful. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who has an interest in botanicals, watercolour, ink, or would like to explore any of these things.

This was really informative and allows you to go at your own pace. I don't feel pressure to create art anymore, and the idea that a single messed up line isn't the end of the art piece is refreshing.

I loved this course, it's meditative and very encouraging to keep practicing. I learnt a lot ! lapin is a great teacher and brings confidence and curiosity to the hand and eyes. Thank you!

This course sits well with me who started drawing with Betty Edwards. It is certainly meditative. It is also instructive in the mixing and application of watercolour. Lapin also encourages the use of other media to add vibrance to the watercolour and I am finding his instruction and encouragement in this very practical. I hope others will do this course and benefit as much from it as I am.

Lapin's course is an excellent introduction to botanical sketching. I would watch it just to calm down; Lapin's presence and methodology are so soothing! Incredible "open eye meditation."

Great teacher, pretty colour palettes, and English audio. I recommend this course.
