Botanical Sketchbooking: A Meditative Approach

Great course!

I like the way Lapin explain the process of contemplation and get lost in the forms and colors. I created a green palette out of 3 yellows and 4 blues. It was an great exercise to understand the different grades of greens with different rations.

Wat een prachtige cursus van een zeer getalenteerde illustrator! Bedankt voor de vele interessante video's waarin we stap voor stap alles kunnen volgen. Bloemen schilderen met aquarel en tekenen met fineliner is heel ontspannend en meditatief. Dankjewel voor deze inspiratie, je bent een top leraar :)

Loved this course. Particularly enjoyed the addition of the subtle use of gelly roll pens and colored pencils. His line drawing style is exacting yet full of life, never stiff.

I enjoyed this course. Very informative and presented clearly . Lapin encourages relaxation, thoughtfulness and enjoyment . I found I really wanted to explore different shapes, structure and colours while using pens , watercolours and newly acquired and recommended mark making materials.
