“Watercolor Basics This exercise we have here is similar to the one we did at the beginning. We applied even layers of color, but changing the number of layers. This method of applying watercolor is known as "the glaze method" and in this shadow we have here, we're only applying a single layer. In the next one, we're doing two layers throughout, and so on until you reach the last one, which is the most intense. Still, I used two brushes. One for the paint, one for the water. We will be using this type of watercolor application to tackle a volume exercise for which I'm doing an overall first ...”
