Art Deco Style for Digital Illustration

I have been always fascinated by Art Deco styles and admire those who can do this style fluently. I tried to imitate the style in the past but couldn't get the spirit. This is a course I've been longing for!

I am happy that I discovered Mads. I fell in love with his wonderful illustrations and joyned my first Domestika course. Mads explains things well and it is so nice to discover some small tricks ;) Hope, to see Mads again.

One of the most useful and well put together courses on here. I didn't just learn about Art Deco (and feel confident by the end to do it myself), but some great practical tips on using Illustrator, dealing with a client brief, and multiple ways to play around with existing ideas to create new and fresh images...highly recommend!

I love all of Mads' work, esp. his style and composition. I just wish he would have given a little more detail about setting up the gradients and more on adding texture. Even a little more about working with reference material. He seems to be able to draw realistic figures without much reference. I did gain some knowledge about the work behind the finished images and some workflow in Illustrator that I hadn't been aware of or put to use before. I will watch this again to improve mastery.

I love Mads’ work and I enjoyed the class. I haven’t started a project due to personal obligations, however I did go through the lessons. I do feel, even though the main focus is the execution of Art Deco design, some more detail in the Adobe Illustrator techniques (keyboard shortcuts, etc.) would be nice.

Again I really love Mads’ work and was glad to see this course was available on Domestika. It has encouraged me to take additional courses, including any new one by Mads!
