About the final project for: Flash Photography with a Speedlight

Flash Photography with a Speedlight

“We've reached the end of the course. Now it's time for you to work on your final project. Using the skills and techniques you’ve learnt in this course, coupled with the creative knowledge you have already acquired, create three images. Each image connects to a different emotion and ideally uses a new technique with light that you’ve learnt. My recommendation would be to separate each image into a different style of photography. For example: Image 1 - Editorial Portrait Image 2 - Headshot Portrait Image 3 - Students Choice Here are the two images I've been working on throughout the course:

Remember: light itself does not create the emotion. We need to couple it with poses, expressions and props. Light can act to amplify the emotion you’re trying to get across. Share your images with the community, including a brief explanation of how your process went, what issues or challenges you found and any recommendations you may want to share with your fellow students. If you have any questions or doubts, don't hesitate to ask them in the forum. I will try to answer as soon as possible. I hope you enjoyed my course and can't wait to see your photographs. See you! ”
