Despite having earned a degree in Architecture from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (Mexico City), David Nieto embarked on a career in painting and illustration under the pseudonym Soy Yosh. He draws inspiration from music, daily life in an urban setting, galaxies, and a selection of characters that speak to him.

He has spent almost a decade honing his graphic style by experimenting with different techniques and creative processes. He has also collaborated with well-known international brands such as Casio G-Shock, Puma, and Reebok.
