About the final project for: Creative Bullet Journal: Planning and Creativity

Creative Bullet Journal: Planning and Creativity

“We have reached the end of this course. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did and that you have learned a lot during the whole process of developing your bullet journal. Before saying goodbye, I am going to review the different phases to follow to develop the final project: The final project will be to create your bullet journal following the keys that we have seen in the lessons of the course. Enjoy the parts that you are creating, the creative process, and design to make your bullet journal even more yours. There are as many types of bullet journals as there are types of people! Preparation First, choose the type of notebook that best suits your tastes and routines. Remember to choose materials and resources that inspire you, so that your bullet becomes an ally and you like to take it with you. In this way, it will become a real working tool in your day-to-day life and your little treasure. Start by creating an inspiration panel or mood board on the first page, collecting all kinds of resources that inspire and motivate you as we saw in Unit 2.

Index and key Create the index of your bullet journal to be able to have all the content organized and structured. Also create the key, which will define the symbols and codes of all kinds that will identify the different elements of your bullet journal.
Registers As we saw in Unit 3, I created a three-month future record, but you can create the record that best suits your needs and objectives; looking forward to the next two months, six, a year... whatever you prefer. When you prepare your weeks, remember to create your days little by little.
Collections and trackers As we saw in Unit 4, after preparing the records, add a collection about an event, activity, or project that requires follow-up to your bullet journal. I dedicated a page to this in my bullet journal. Also, add trackers or a habit tracking. That is a record of habits that we want to acquire or eliminate to improve our day-to-day.
Creative accessories As you build your bullet journal, include creative and inspiring elements. For this course, I have made an envelope, a bookmark, and a list of notes to insert in my notebook, but I encourage you to develop your creations!
Now share your final project with all of us by clicking on "Create your project." Remember to share both the final result of your bullet journal and the steps that have led you to it. It would be great if you showed an image of each phase of your project in which the work you have carried out looks good. Add a brief explanation about what you have done in each phase, so I can give you feedback. Try to dedicate the time to your bullet journal, not only to the creative process but also to the conscious planning part. I will accompany you throughout the creation process, and I will be able to guide you in creating your bullet journal and give you some tips to achieve that creative part that we want to include in it. I will answer all your questions in the forum weekly, a task that I will combine with my other projects. One of the parts I like the most about a bullet journal is the beautiful community it creates. I invite you to participate actively in the forum and share your tips and tricks with your colleagues. It will surely be very enriching and inspiring for everyone. See you soon! ”

Journalist and Designer

Chris Bravo holds a degree in journalism but has always been drawn to design. In 2009, she launched her blog and publishers soon started to take notice of her tutorials. As a result, she has published two books: Washi Tape Manía and Craftmanía. She also created her own brand and online stationery store the same year as her blog.

There was a time when she had to balance working in the family business and working on her own brand. That was when the bullet journal became her best friend, helping her stay organized and reach her goals. Today, she is completely devoted to her own brand and the creative bullet journal has turned into a way of life.
