Narrative Illustration: Tell a Story without Words

Gostei muito da proposta do curso, dos exercícios e da didática do professor. Como sempre, as legendas em português deixam a desejar, contém muitos erros de tradução, mas não compromete o conteúdo do curso.

This course has encouraged me to be more organised and thorough with my sketchbook. In some ways the step by step processes for planning the story was more wordy than visual, but I learned the importance of thinking through the artwork beforehand. It also clarified the importance of choosing a good colour swatch before starting to paint. My art degree was in fine art, which is less 'structured', so I needed this course! And I now understand gouache painting better than before!

Com didatica focada na pratica, embasamento teorico relevante e a simpatica figura do professor que motiva o aprendizado. Portanto recomendo o ótimo curso .

Lots of insights to working with gouache, super interesting process for generating ideas. Beautiful format of book. (Sadly, like in a lot of the courses at Domestika, some pieces like text on the screen or additional resources, are not translated from Spanish to English.)

O curso é excelente e com conteúdos necessários. Mas o que mais me chamou a atenção foi a honestidade, inteireza e amorosidade para com os alunos e com o trabalho do professor. Indico o curso porque além de aprender técnicas, ele é muito motivador e bonito.

I love his style and the final foldout illustration panels he created. I would have liked some instruction on material and dimensions for how to make the display panels rather than how to create my own paint from scratch. But that is a minor criticism. The course is very professional and inspiring.

I think that the course is super well conceived and it makes us comfortable.
I recommend the course.
