Exploratory Sketchbook: Find Your Drawing Style

I'm not new to drawing and painting, but I struggled to practice more. This course brought me a lot of inspiration and motivation. Sarah is lovely, she gives a lot of tips on how to be more yourself when you draw. I really feel like it unblocked something in my illustrating process.

Great course for me. I really liked Sarah's clear and direct instructions and all the examples and links she gave us. I have only been drawing for a few years so I needed to be reminded to sketch regularly and not jump too soon to the finished drawing. I am still finding my own style, but I have more tools and techniques to go forward. Thank you Sarah and Domestika. I have already started another class!

I love this course, very detail explanation, giving me the ideas how to start drawing, like face, posture's etc.. Recommend to everyone who like and want to start drawing.

Loved this course. Sarah is very good at explaining her process, and sets everything out in a very easy to digest format. Sarah is very calming to listen to as well, so I felt as though I was sketching with a super helpful friend! Really pleased to try some new approaches and break out of my a rut. Este curso me ayudo a guiar a mis alumnos en el mundo del color y que no tengan miedo en el momento de probar y dibujar gente común sin proporciones. Sarah tiene una manera de contar muy amigable y se entiende muy bien. Los textos complementarios ayudan un montón a entender las distintas maneras de aproximarse al entorno de la ilustración. This course gives you a step by step approach to drawing that is more natural and easy. By learning to use a sketchbook to draw things around me in my own style, it helped me overcome my struggle to fill a sketchbook. I like her tips about choosing a palette and thinking about the elements of composition, contrast, pattern, foreground, background, and drawing from observation but also imagination.
