I’ve enjoyed learning how to tell a story, create mood with layers, colours and simple details and that we don’t have to look far for a subject or image to draw, our everyday lives is enough. Great course that helps you define your own style. In the end I prefer a different style but it was good to try new and different techniques that I can incorporate into my own style. I guess that is the point of doing these courses.

I love everything about this course! I'm still working through the projects, but I've already watched it in full and I love Sarah's style of teaching and her work. The exercises are simple to understand and carry out yet powerful. I'm learning a lot of interesting techniques, particularly when it comes to mixed media, and she makes it feel so easy and accesible that I'm inspired to draw what I see on my day to day life.

A great course with simple & easy to follow instructions for putting an image together with nice composition and building up layers of paint, pencil & crayon. I love Sarah's whimsical illustration style and her easy, friendly & encouraging presentation. She made me feel like anyone could produce an illustration from their daily life.
