Exploratory Sketchbook: Find Your Drawing Style

I am absolutely loving this course - I have been a digital illustrator for the last 20 years and Sarah has helped me explore different mediums and let go of the outcome and draw for the love of drawing! I totally recommend this course for anyone and everyone!

Wonderful course, nicely paced, and Sarah is a warm and knowledgeable teacher.

Loved this course. Sarah’s teaching style is great and she gives so many tips for ongoing practice beyond the class exercises. I like how she explains how you can break away from realism for things like perspective etc but then also how to keep things looking natural in your style.

I rushed through it without trying the activities as i am already a practicing artist. But I love Sarah's quirky style and she generates a lovely peaceful day-to-day atmosphere in here works. This has inspired me to start engaging in my own drawings and I will re-visit Sarah's tutorials as needed.

I haven't completed the course yet, as I am just taking it at a slow pace, but it's very informative and delivered in a way that makes you feel relaxed and gives you all the information and tips you need to build your confidence in starting a sketchbook, which I often struggle with knowing how to start it off and what to draw. I love Sarah's style and am looking forward to progressing through the course.

This was a fun class! I learned some valuable tips for painting and specifically for choosing colors that I am excited to practice more after this class. I would totally recommend this for anyone looking to explore more in their illustration style.

I enjoyed this class and it made me want to step out of my comfort zone.
I was apprehensive about drawing people in perspective but Sarah van Dongen made me feel it's okay and not to overthink it and it would still come out cute and unique.
I love how accessible Sarah's method is.

a fun course that helps you find excitement in drawing, shows you that mixing techniques and media is OK and emphasizes that what counts the most is the emotions you want to convey with your drawing, I liked how Sarah explained her process and her story :)
