About the final project for: Hand-Painted Ceramics

Hand-drawn illustration on ceramic

“We have already reached the end of the course. I appreciate your attention and I hope you enjoyed it a lot. Next, I am going to review the different phases that I have followed to develop my final project: Inspiration and sketch First, I have collected different references on an mood board to find the concept of my project. Afterwards, I got down to work to make the sketch of my drawing.

Pencil drawing and color Using the final sketch for reference, I have drawn the composition on the five plates in pencil. Then it is time for the most laborious process, applying the color. Follow this process little by little, we have to work calmly and enjoying the process, as we saw throughout the videos of Unit 3.
Details and enamelling Below I have added all kinds of details to give the final touch to my project.
Fine result l As we saw during the course, afterwards you have to glaze the dishes to protect them and go through the cooking process that I explained to you in Unit 5. And everything would be ready!
Now it's your turn, share your final project with all of us by clicking on "Create your project". As I have done up here, remember to share both the final result and the steps that have led you to it. Although you are guided by what I have done and it serves as a reference, you can make another piece different from mine. I encourage you to find your own style and work with great dedication. Throughout the course, I have left you tasks and resources that I hope will help you. I remind you that you can ask in the forum all the questions that arise and tell me all your concerns and opinions, also that you give advice to the other students so that we can help each other. I will always try to answer as soon as possible. See you soon! ”

Next. i demonstrated my inspiration process. detailing how I collect images from books and online sources to craft our creations effectively. We proceeded by creating multiple sketches. which we would later apply to our pieces. We began with a exercise to warm up and relax our hands.
