Jazmín Varela is an illustrator, cartoonist, and tattoo artist. She has been working as an editorial illustrator since 2010 and works on personal projects for exhibitions in parallel. In 2018, she also started to tattoo in her own studio.
Some of her published works include Crisis capila (Editorial Municipal de Rosario 2016), Guerra de soda (Maten al Mensajero, 2017), Tengo unas flores con tu nombre (Maten al Mensajero, 2018), and Cotillón (Maten al Mensajero y Sigilo España, 2020). She is an integral part of the Cuadrilla Feminista, a graphic artist collective from Rosario, and cofounder of the Festival Furioso de Dibujo.
