Start the course by getting to know Pierina Másquez and José María Denegri, the duo behind Fortuna Studio. Together, they share some of their main influences and inspiration, and highlight what sets their style of illustration apart.
Next, Pierina and José explain why everyday things are so important to Fortuna Studio. Then, get an overview of the course materials and learn how to use each of them.
Learn how to develop a series of exercises to practice your observation skills and define the everyday objects that you want to illustrate. Learn how to loosen up your drawing hand and discover the blind drawing technique. Make a doodle that will serve as the basis of your sketch and do some color tests.
To finish the project, focus on the lines and make sure to paint your piece from the inside out so that it stays clean and mess-free. Then, see how to apply some final touches to your drawing.
