Stylized Vector Illustration with Color and Character

Great class. Easy to follow and I liked learning a unique way to use illustrator and photoshop together.

Such a nice guy! The lessons are easy to follow. I am working on my project as I am watching the lessons. Also even though I have been using Photoshop for years, I am still learning new bits here.

A nice course to 'get the feel for' vector illustrations. I'm writing & illustrating a graphic novel story-essay series. It has some complex ideas contained within simple stories. I want to extend this complexity:simplicity relationship into the illustrations too. So I thought vector illustrations, with their simplified formatting of realism, would be good. This course has shown me that it is the direction I need to go in, but I should have started at a more 'beginner level' vector art course.

Cours très intéressant. La démarche artistique est bien expliquée mais cela va un peu vite quand on passe au numérique. Il faut bien maîtriser photoshop.

Really valuable course!

Great course that gives an overview of Owen's vector style. I like how he uses references images and shares his thought process of how to transform a realistic picture into vectorizing (not a real word :P ) it.
