Design pots adapted to a plant's shape and needs and make a mold to create them
Discover manual techniques for creating a home for your plants, whether it’s a cactus or a succulent, indoor or outdoor. Designer and ceramist Mónica Oceja, founder of the brand La Pomona, teaches you how to create pots based on the depth, shape, and color of your plant.
In this course, create a unique ceramic pot from scratch. Monica teaches you how to use high-temperature ceramics and shows you ideas and techniques for decorating and enameling your pot. See how to plant and shape it, and replicate your design to create more with the mold you craft for your plant.

What is this course's project?
Create a plant pot using high-temperature ceramic, inspired by the personality, shape, and needs of a plant.
Who is this online course for?
For anyone interested in creating a unique and original plant pot for their home.
Requirements and materials
No previous experience is required to take the course; all you need is a love for plants. Some experience with pottery will be useful for generating ideas, but is not essential.
As for materials, you need high-temperature ceramic paste and slip, tools for modeling and building your mold, tools for carving and polishing, and other tools to decorate and enamel. You should take into account that, to complete some of the course's practical exercises, you'll need to have access to an artisan's oven or a ceramics workshop where you can rent one.
