Textile Printing Techniques for Beginners
“Dear students, We have reached the end of the course and we made it! I really hope you enjoyed the course and learned interesting and creative ways to print on fabrics and transform your garment into a personal and unique piece of cloth. Creating beautiful unique handmade clothes and taking care of them is very important as we need to remember our responsibility in creating less waste. If you like your wardrobe, you will consume less and it will be a great achievement. Now it is your turn! I really want you to use all you have learned and experiment to create your own printed garment. It is a process, so remember that tryouts are usually very useful before printing your final garment. Often first textile prints aren't the best ones! So be patient, enjoy experiment making trials on different fabric swatches to see the result. It is important to enjoy it and not be afraid of making mistakes. I promise you that you will achieve amazing results. Printing and manipulating fabrics is a great art form!! Once your final project is ready, please take pictures and share all of your results on the forum with me and the other students. So, tell us, how did you do it? Which technique did you use? Which one did you prefer most? If you made mistakes, were there any great surprises? Did you enjoy printing? And most importantly, are you proud of yourself? I would be very happy to see your work, talk with you, clarify your doubts and help you as much as I can. And without a doubt, I will always respond to you, even if it takes me a few days. Thanks a lot for participating and see you on the forum. ”
