Do not let Laura Ewing’s enthusiasm for character building fool you into thinking she does nothing but gush in her course. She has lots of solid information, and is very thorough in her explanations. I found her easy to follow, and will definitely be using her tips and methods in future character creation!

I would totally recommend this course. The teacher explains step by step all the process of the development of the characters. She shows where to find examples, what is a mood board, what to send to the customer. I will come back to this course in the future as a reference.

i was looking for a course that doesn't just teach how to design a character through illustration and this course fits what i was looking for.
Laura shows a clear step by step process of character creations and the techniques she uses. And encourages us to develop our own style as well. It's a course that goes beyond teaching the fundamentals of illustration but also covers the fundamentals of character design.
