Good theory explanation, made it simple to understand and then he goes deeper into detail as he guides you step by step during the class' project.

Había investigado un poco sobre cómo afecta la luz a los objetos, pero la forma en que Samuel Smith lo entiende y explica no deja lugar a la duda. Mediante ejercicios básicos de iluminación se logra comprender de forma sencilla como lograr darle esa coherencia a las ilustraciones que realicemos. Un curso muy recomendado.

EXCELENTE CURSO Y FÁCIL DE ENTENDER

I've been learning so much from Samuel. Light and Color is something that I am very passioned about so learning from him has been truly a delight, the way he explains such a complex subject is really easy to follow and understand.

This is such an eye opener of a course.
Being "ok" with shadows and light I felt I could improve upon my own skill set... BUT what I didn't expect is me to really start to understand light/shadows so much more. Now I'm looking at the world around me with such fresh eyes, seeing how light catches things. This course is AMAZING !

The pace of the videos was great, explanations made sense even for someone who is a little advanced or who has taken lighting & painting classes. Great for beginners and seasoned artists.Very happy with tips, tricks, and explanations.

Muy buen curso, Samuel te ensaña a entender el funcionamiento de la luz de acuerdo a la distancia, dirección y tipo de luz que presenta una escena, y explica como utilizar las capas y sus tipos de fusión para lograr el acabado deseado.

Lo único que puedo destacar en contra fue la falta de enfoque en la luz sobre materiales específicos, sobre todo líquidos, ya que me encantaría que hubiera explicado como funcionan los objetos translucidos a mayor profundidad.

Já vi muitas explicações de luz e cor em ilustração, mas a abordagem de Samuel Smith me pareceu bastante original e prática, explicada de forma clara e sistemática. As dicas de novos atalhos para o Photoshop foram muito úteis. Recomendo.
