About the final project for: Woven Jewelry with Natural Fibers

Woven Jewelry with Natural Fibers

“We have reached the end of the course. I hope that everything you have learned here with me has inspired you to create your jewelry and find a reason for being in your designs. Next we are going to review the steps to develop your project with your ideas. • Think of an idea and create a mood board that has to do with that idea, use colors, images and materials.

• Choose the pieces you want to create, draw them on paper in real size.
• Shape your structures with wire. • Practice covering these structures with raffia. • Practice how to fill in the pieces with the techniques that we saw during the course. • Cover and fill your pieces. • Assemble the pieces to turn them into earrings, necklaces or brooches. • Decorate your treasures.
• Create a package.
Feel happy to have created from your imagination using a traditional artisan technique. :) Now share your final project with all of us by clicking on "Create your project". Remember to share both the final result of your pieces and the steps that have led you to it. It would be great if you showed a photo of each step and added a brief explanation about what you have done in each one. If you have doubts, I will be in the forum to solve them as soon as possible. I also invite you to interact with your colleagues. After all, we benefit immensely from the opinion of our colleagues. ”

To be able to make a collection you had to choose a theme, get the images to make a mood board and create a color palette. With the collection conceptualized, you started to make the designs of each of the pieces. First, you learned how to...”
