About the final project for: Design a Delicious App

Design a delicious App

“In summary, our work methodology consists of: - Definition of idea / concept - Definition of user profile - Benchmarking - Information architecture and wireframing - Rapid prototyping - Testing with users * - Visual design - Brand application, colors, typography and iconography - Animations and micro-interactions - More tests with users * - Cutting resources for the programmer (*) Although there are no lessons on this, believe that it is very important that you do it. We are glad that you are already at the end of the course. Through each of the lessons, we have guided you in the process of designing an application for iOS. Then, remember that you must first have an idea of an application that has value for your user. That same idea can be transformed into wireframes, which allow one of the most important parts of an app design: to test a prototype with users. Remember that only then can you move to the visual design, and gradually refine the details of the interface that will make your app stand out from the rest. If you already have your app ready, we encourage you to share your project with the rest of the community and so we can help you improve everything you need. And if you have questions at any stage of the process, do not hesitate to let us know! We will send you a cable resolving your concerns so that you can design a delicious app. See you in the forum!”

“[MUSIC] We have finished the design of our application. Now what we are going to do is a review of all the phases we have been through while designing this project. The first thing we did was work on the idea about what the purpose of our application would be. We define the user's profile then we also did some benchmarking to know what other applications were doing similar to ours. Then we work at a diagrammatic level information architecture and then we convert that information into white frames where we define each of the necessary screens to complete our main flows. Then we took pictures...”

José Vittone is originally from Argentina, but from the interior of the province of Buenos Aires. He currently lives in Barcelona, where he met Javier about four years ago when they were Master's classmates in Elisava. He worked at Usolab and there he learned what usability and user-centered design really means.

Javier "Simón" Cuello born in Mendoza, Argentina. A small town in the west of the country and at the foot of the mountains, known for its trees, ditches and the quality of its wines. "Simón" was lucky to want to be a graphic designer since he was very young and, as he was growing up, his visual training was adding a particular interest for interactive and new technologies.
