Editorial Illustration: Sharpen Your Conceptual Skills

It is an elementary course for people who don't work in the creative industry. It's nice how he shows both sides (illustrator and art director) of the work involved.

This is a short but excellent course by a top-level pro. If you are looking for specific techniques, you won't get them here. But if you are looking to expand your way of approaching illustrations, then this is a wonderfully inspiring course. I wish the section on Conceptual Tools had been much longer, certainly a whole unit by itself, but even the current succinct discussion was worth the price of the whole course.

Worth more than what I paid for. I love the lessons and delivery

I enjoyed the videos-they were exactly the right length, informative and charming.
The assignments were well thought out and interesting.
I would have liked a prompt or article to work from rather than choosing our own just to see the different interpretations.

Mr. Blechman is full of good advice for everyone.

Wonderful class for artists trying to figure out how to get into editorial publication.

I really like this course! The presentation is fun and engaging, and I really enjoy Mr. Blechmans humor. The only minor critique I could offer, is that the student is not provided with an article or article to work on for his/her illustration. If a couple of these would be provided, the course would be even better.
