Get to know Polilla, who will tell you about the path she has taken into the world of pointillism and botanical tattooing. In addition, she shows you the tattoo artists who have influenced her most and explains the project that you will develop throughout this course.
Next, begin to explore your canvas: the human body. Understand why muscle and skin tone are important factors to consider when designing your tattoo and learn the relationship between the body and the size of a tattoo.
In the third unit, enter the world of botanical elements. Learn the characteristics of different flowers and plants that will serve as a foundation for you as you add volume, light, and contrast to your drawing. Then, learn to clean, digitize, and print your final design, using Adobe Photoshop to adapt it to your stencil.
Let's start tattooing! Before starting, Polilla shows you the many technical considerations to guarantee proper hygiene and safety in your workplace. She also teaches you to transfer your drawing to the skin with the stencil. Learn how to create shadows, add volume, and apply a unique texture to the tattoo with the techniques of outlining and pointillism.
Finally, Polilla gives you some advice on how to keep your client's tattoo protected and cared for so it remains in perfect shape.

Who is it for?
For beginner tattoo artists who already have some previous experience tattooing on skin or professionals who want to learn the pointillism technique.
What you need
You will need some basic knowledge of tattooing and the materials required to make a black tattoo, such as: machine, power supply, clipcord, cups, black ink, needles of different sizes, pipette, an absorbent towel, Vaseline, plastic wrap, and some soap and water.
To create your tattoo you will need a graphics tablet or pencil and greaseproof paper. You should also have a transfer or special tracing paper used for tattoos.
