Pom-Pom Design and Creation
“We have now come to the end of the pompom wreath course. Thank you for joining me, I hope you enjoyed learning as much as I enjoyed creating and teaching the course. During the course, we have learnt so much! All about the best yarns for making pompoms, how to make basic ones through to more complex ones, how to record the patterns so you always have a reference for them, and of course, the whole reason we came on the course - our gorgeous pompom wreath. Don’t forget the five golden rules of pompom making:
- Always use two halves of your pompom maker.
- Wrap consistently and carefully, neither too tight nor too loose.
- Never open the makers before you’ve tied the yarn around the middle.
- Tie double knots as tight as you can.
- Trim. trim and then trim some more.
