Abstract 3D Art
“Dear students, We have reached the end of the course, I hope you enjoyed it and learned a few things that you could use later in your future projects. Just to give a recap, we talked about my influences and how they can impact your creative process, and how important inspirations are. Then we came up with the idea and philosophy of our work based on two photographers which I admire. After creating a moodboard and finding out about the look and feel of the project, we started to create a simple model in Cinema 4D which then we used as a base for our cloth simulation in Marvelous Designer. We also talked about the importance of different kinds of lenses and lights and how choosing the right focal length or light could help you make a more realistic render. Eventually, we started to start shading and rendering our model in Cinema 4D with the Redshift render engine. Finally, in the fourth section, we edited our render and made it ready to upload on social media. I encourage you once you understand the basics of each step, go ahead and start over and do every step in a different way, in a way that you would be happy with. Find different inspirations, different stories, different looks, and of course a different render at the end. There are endless possibilities to create an image, always be patient and try other camera angles, different lights, textures, and make sure you choose the best one. Do not settle for your first try. Always try to push your limits and take a step further to make your image even more interesting and in this way, you will also learn more about the process. I’m looking forward to seeing your works and the ideas you come up with. I’m sure there will be plenty of people who would make a frame which is way better than mine. And please be patient with my replies as I have a full-time job and a few clients on my own. I do my best to reply as soon as I get a chance. Have fun and don’t forget to share your knowledge with others. Bye! ”

“Final project We have reached the end of this course. Now it's time for you to start practising and making your own piece. You can begin your work by exploring other artists and getting inspiration. I strongly recommend that you gather references and create a mood board for your project. This will help you to figure out the story and the message you want to tell. Work freely. The idea is that you make something for yourself and not having an audience in your mind. Once you have the concept, you may jump onto the computer and start creating a model. Then you may follow my process of working ...”
