I loved this course. Kevin has a great teaching style that makes you feel relaxed, which in turn helps the creative process feel more natural and that blank paper seem a lot less scary! I have been able to create numerous ideas, sketches and storylines from this one course and know I will go back to it again when I need some more inspiration.

PlusVery practical and easy to follow. I find it inspiring to draw on sketchbook on backgrounds and animal postures as reference. The use of watercolor pens are also handy and easy. Only thing is some of the video about the drawing process is long, can fast paced a bit.

I loved this course, Kevin gave easy to follow pointers on how to go about illustrating a story for children, and I liked that he answered my comments personally. Would recommend this course to anyone interested in writing and illustrating children’s books.

PlusThis class is so much fun! I haven't yet upload any of my "animals" cause I'm lost to the world sketching squirrels, cats, pigeons, puppies etc. Yet to decide which ones to choose for my proyect. In the meantime I'm drawing animals like crazy! This class is for those like me who love animals but don't know how to begin. I love his sweet colorfull yet soulful illustrations. This is about capturing their "personalities" & essence. Great for beginners or anybody interested in Illustration.
