Ulises Mendicutty is a Mexican visual artist and illustrator based in Barcelona for over a decade. He draws inspiration from his surroundings: cinema, traditions, and barrio culture. Through SHE (Se Habla Español) he participates in collaborative, artistic, and fun projects that support the creation of communities and the promotion of illustration and contemporary art.
His work has been exhibited in countries such as Italy, Scotland, Spain, Mexico, and Costa Rica. He has also had the opportunity to work with companies such as Penguin Random House, El País, Vips, Slanted Publishers, and Myself Magazine, among others.
