What you need

No previous knowledge is necessary to take this course.

As for materials, you will need watercolor paper or Durex paper, watercolors, gouache, round and flat watercolor paintbrushes of all sizes, colored pencils, pencils, a sharpener, an eraser, a plastic or ceramic mixing tray, masking tape, two jars to fill with water, absorbent paper, and a waterproof fineliner pen.

Carolina Alarcón, the illustrator and graphic designer behind Alinailustra, from Bogotá, Colombia. After studying graphic design in Bogotá, she ventured off to Barcelona, Spain to do a Postgraduate degree in illustration.

With over 11 years of experience in the field, Carolina now has a long list of clients that include Bacánika, DiCreem, and Freepik. She also does editorial illustration work for Pearson Mexico, Planet, Santillana, Filomena, and many more. She has also been teaching illustration, watercolor, and creative expression since 2010 in several countries.
