Hand-Drawn Typographic Portrait

Really good course. Very explanatory and to the point! I recommend it for anyone interested in typography with illustration and mixed media.

A pleasant journey in Sarah workflow. I was interested in the process and I found the course very useful.

I really enjoy this course! Sarah goes through every step of her process thoroughly. I quite like the idea of using four values for a whole portrait that can be distinguished by different ways of writing.

I enjoyed watching this thru before doing it on my own. I got pretty lost in Unit 3 because Creating the Template should be first, not last. I would like a bit more instruction on how she chose the numbers when numbering the template. I feel like that section was not detailed enough, and too much time was spent on watching her draw the fish pipe (interesting to see that though!).

This course is incredible I highly recommend it...

Es un curso muy interesante y aprendí mucho. Es un trabajo de mucho detalle y paciencia, y ella te va guiando bien. Al final, sólo creo que le falta comentar algunos tips para saber explotar este tipo de arte y sacarle mayor provecho a tanto trabajo que lleva hacer algo en este estilo, como por ejemplo saber hacer variaciones de color, etc. En general es muy buen curso y recomendable, hay que ser muy autocrítico ya que ella no da mucha retroalimentación durante el proceso.

I'm glad I enrolled, it's been years since I wanted to know how to do this type of illustration. I can't be more happy and mostly because Sarah explains all concepts and techniques in the easiest way to learn. Really neat.

I haven't finished the course- I didn't realize how much photoshop/computer based it was and should go back and see if it becomes less so as the classes move forward. Sarah's videos and instruction is fantastic-

I was really inspired by Sahra Kings course in habndrawn typhographical portrait. She walked us through the process step by step in a way that was easy to follow. I highly recommend this course.
